At the beginning of the month I had the honor of being there to capture what I believe as one of life’s most intimate moments…an adoption! I have been so blessed by teaming up with City Without Orphans to capture adoptions in our city. This is real life…it is as real as it gets. There are thousands of kiddos awaiting homes and this family felt compelled to do something about it. To move when God said move. To make a difference. To love sacrificially and unconditionally. I truly believe these beauties were born to be exactly where they are today. Our creator makes no mistakes along the way. They were “fearfully and wonderfully made” to be in this family. Thank you Kevin and Christy for having me there for this raw intimate moment…the moment you became a Forever Family!

“After learning about the foster care and orphan crisis going on in our world today, our hearts were broken! We knew and we couldn’t be content  doing life as usual. We had to wake up from our sleep of blissful ignorance and get involved.  This was a world so foreign to us and we were anxious and afraid to move forward. Finally after 3 years of talking and praying we set out to bring a child into our family through adoption. We had no idea of the joy that awaited us! God blessed us with two little girls who had lived more than half of their lives in foster care! This journey has brought about joy, healing, and taken us to a whole in place of what it means to love and be loved. On April 4^th, Taylor and Justine officially became Manning’s! We are overwhelmed with the privilege to love and support them and do life as a family of 6. We believe that our little story is just a picture of the bigger story of God’s love and grace.” -Christy
