I believe it is our calling in life to use the gifts bestowed upon us to love on others in a tangible way. I know I was given a heart that longs to serve and a talent that shines light on the simplicity of a moment that can be cherished for a lifetime.
It is my goal as a photographer to love my clients and serve them well. I believe in clear communication, a joyful attitude and creating timeless images for you to look back on generations to come. Your wedding is the start of your legacy. Your family continually growing. Let's press pause and bask in the simple joys of today.
I'm Kim! When I was born my mom thought it would be cute to make my name rhyme. Kimberly Giann Sheehan. Some of my friends in college started calling me Kimi-G and it stuck! I am married to my highschool sweetheart (but we really don't ever describe ourselves as that, ha!) and we have an oh-so-adorable two year old son! This business of ours has allowed me to stay home with our son and be the mommy I've always dreamt of being. I believe in dreaming BIG and setting goals. In our down time you can usually find us at the lake or somewhere enjoying all that California has to offer. Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to know more about you and what makes your heart skip a beat!
Being a wedding photographer, I feel it is only fitting to let you in on a bit of OUR love story. Steven and I grew up around the block from each other and road the bus to school together starting in 7th grade. The 1st day I saw him at school, I came home and wrote in my journal about "the hottest guy I have ever seen!" Total mush. AND I still have that journal! We dated for two seconds in 9th grade, then remained best friends all through high school. He asked me to senior prom "Hey, you're my best friend and I can't think of a better way to end the year!" That night he asked to kiss me and the rest is history. That history includes growing pains of college and finding who we are. But we landed right back where we began. Two best
friends that wanted nothing more than to start an adventure together. We got married May of 2012 and been chugging away at our goals ever since! We honeymooned in Ireland and had our oh-so-adorable son in December of 2014. He lights up our days! We were told we couldn't have kiddos of our own, so he is quite the little miracle. In the process our hearts were softened for orphan care and loving on the fatherless. In February 2017, I will be traveling with a group of storytellers to Ethiopia to love on an orphan community with my camera in tow. Your love story is ever changing, ever growing, and you never know where it will take you next.
